People spy on their spouses or have fake girlfriends to maintain their Facebook relationship status. When we get to hear of these incidences, you laugh a little and move on.

As soon as they change their relationship status from ‘engaged’ to ‘single’ again, there might be a hundred ‘likes’ and a million uncomfortable questions. This is an actual incident; a woman divorced her husband because he had not changed his Facebook relationship even after 1 month of marriage.

The wife felt humiliated and doubted that her husband did not want his female friends to know that he was married! Our fixation with Facebook can actually ruin our relationships.
