maxisKUALA LUMPUR, May 30- Maxis Bhd today announced that Johan Dennelind, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, will be unable to assume the position.

“Maxis would like to inform that, owing to recent personal family circumstances which have made it necessary for him to reside closer to family in Sweden, Dennelind has indicated he is unable to assume the role of CEO.

“The board, having carefully considered Dennelind’s situation, agreed that it is in the best interest of the company to release him from his contract,” it said in a statement.
