JULY 27- So restaurants in Gujarat, ruled by the BJP, plan to name dishes after the scams that have rocked the Congress-led UPA government at the centre.

Hence the menus may soon have ‘CWG shake’ and ‘2G sandwich’, said a newspaper report on Friday.

modi_350_051313081354The decision of the Gujarat Rajya Hotel Federation (GRHF) comes days after Congress workers forced a Mumbai eatery, Aditi Restaurant, to shut down mocking the government in its bills.

Aditi Restaurant’s printed receipt had this message: “As per UPA govt eating money (2G, coal, CWG scam) is a necessity and eating food in AC restaurants is a luxury.”

Angry over the central government not doing away with service tax, the Southern Gujarat Hotel Association has also supported the GRHF proposal.

Over 6,000 eateries are part of GRHF.
