KUALA SELANGOR, Feb 9 — Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he would not retract the contract termination involving 22 Selangor Holdings Sdn Bhd (PHSB) staff despite the criticism by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president Azmin Ali.
He said the decision to terminate the staff’s contracts was made according to procedure and the proper channel.
“We practise transparency and accountability, and every decision is based on research. As Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) chairman, I am only handed the proposal and if I agree I will ask that it be implemented.
“I have asked the State Secretary to monitor the execution of the contract termination; it was all done in proper order so no one fail to get justice,” he said when met by reporters after a 2014-2015 youth programme here today.
