NEW DELHI, May 9 – Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to give a farewell address to the country on May 17 after relinquishing his post, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported. Singh is likely to talk about the last 10 years of his rule and achievements of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government in his address.
The Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament) elections will end on May 12 and vote counting will take place on May 16. The PM is also expected to give a farewell dinner to colleagues in the council of ministers.
