GEORGE TOWN, March  – Bukit Bendera Umno today lodged a police report calling for stern action to be taken against Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Tian Chua for allegedly linking Umno to intrusion incidents by militants from southern Philippines in the east coast of Sabah.

Its head Abdul Jalil Ariffin said the division would not compromise with Tian Chua(Pic) because the matter involved national security and the country’s sovereignty.

In PETALING JAYA, Tian Chua said he would not be making any apology and was prepared to be sued over the matter.

“I will explain my statement in court and leave it to the court to clear my name. I never said anything hurtful to any party,” he told reporters at PKR’s headquarters here.

Security forces undertaking an offensive against the intruders killed 32 militants in clashes today at ground zero in Tanjung Batu near here, raising to 52 the number of militants killed since last Friday. Eight policemen were killed in the offensive.
