BEAUFORT, July 29- Beaufort Umno Wanita chief Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun (photo) said she has yet to decide whether to contest the chief’s post of the division which is vacant, during the party’s polls.
“Umno’s election method has changed, no need for nominations. One has just to register or offer oneself. Every member has the right to contest,” she told reporters after opening Beaufort Umno’s Wanita branch delegates meeting here Sunday.
She said what was important was that solidarity in Beaufort Umno should be maintained.
The Beaufort Umno chief post fell vacant after the incumbent Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin left to join Parti Keadilan Rakyat.
