KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 – MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel has appointed Datuk (photo) as the Melaka MIC’s new liaison chairman.
Mahadevan, who is the party’s state deputy chairman and a member of the Melaka state executive council, was appointed as a member of the MIC central working committee (CWC) at the last CWC meeting.
“Mahadevan has many years of experience in MIC and with his appointment I believe he will be able to provide good leadership and strengthen the party grassroots further,” he said in a statement today.
Palanivel also thanked former Melaka state exco member and former state liaison chairman Datuk R. Perumal for rendering good services to the public.
