CAIRO, July 5- Egyptian judge Adli Mansour was sworn in Thursday as the interim president of the state after the ouster of Mohamed Morsi.
Adli has taken an oath earlier in the day as head of the Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC), reports China’s Xinhua news agency.
He also promised to lead “a modern, constitutional, national and civil country.”
At least 11 people were killed and more than 500 injured in clashes between the supporters and opponents of the ousted president Morsi Wednesday overnight.
