KUCHING, Feb 15 – Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof today said that competitions on creative writing on science and technology in Malay could encourage dissemination of the new
knowledge using the language. He said such a competition could be held with the cooperation of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.
Speaking to reporters after opening the “Hari Pejuang Bahasa 152” here today, he also suggested that the competition be held on line to encourage youth participation. This, he said, could help to promote the use of Malay terms in science and technology, especially among youths.
