New Delhi, January 21 – After challenging BJP’s Delhi Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi for an open public debate, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has now requested her to unlock him on Twitter.
“Kiranji, I used to follow u on twitter. Now, u have blocked me on twitter. Kindly unblock me,” Kejriwal tweeted on Tuesday. However, Kiran Bedi seems to be in no mood to consider his request.
She said: “I blocked him 15 months back when he called himself an anarchist. He was spreading negativity. Didn’t want my four million followers to see negativity. it was a polluting account.”
Earlier in the day, Kejriwal challenged Bedi for a public debate. Bedi accepted the challenge but said while the AAP chief only believed in debates, her focus was on delivery of services.
She said she will take part in a debate with him, but on the floor of the Delhi Assembly. “Arvind believes only in debates whereas I believe in delivery of services. I will debate with him on the floor of the House,” the former IPS officer said.
