LAHAD DATU, March 28 – A local leader here has issued a challenge to opposition leaders, including Parti Keadilan Rakyat adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang to stand as candidates in Sabah in the coming general election.
Silam Member of Parliament Salleh Kalbi(pic) said, he made the challenge based on alleged claims by opposition leaders that the terrorist intrusion in Kampung Tanduo here was a drama staged by the Barisan Nasional-led government.
“Voters here, including the Chinese community and non-Muslims, are fully behind the present government. Let’s see if the opposition dares (to take up the challenge),” he told Bernama here today.
