Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk M. Saravanan (pic) said youths should evaluate all the information and not just believe everything they read.

He urged them to refrain from being duped by certain quarters who hurled wild allegations that the government was purportedly covering the truth about the incident.

“Don’t fall for such lies. The government is doing its best to find the missing plane and have been making public all the information they have,” he said after opening the 7th Malaysian Association of Yoga conference at the Pranava Yoga Therapy Centre here today.

He added that the MH370 tragedy was not just a national issue but one of global proportions which involved the loss of various other nationalities including the Chinese, Americans and Australians, apart from Malaysians.

On a related note, he said it was timely that the National Service Training Department (JKLN) was improving its sub-modules to provide trainees with special training on social media management.

Describing the confusion faced by youths at present as becoming worse, he hoped the move would provide them with some guidance on how to handle the situation.
