New Delhi, August 13 – One of the biggest problems with the iPad is the reflective screen. This could change with the next generation iPad as Apple is planning add a new anti-reflective coating according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report says that Apple is planning to start production for the next generation iPad mini with retina display. Apple will also soon start production of the iPad Air 2. The tablets will reportedly debut in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The anti-reflective coating will be restricted to the iPad Air 2 and Apple may face some manufacturing issues due to it. Reportedly, the anti-reflective coating will make the iPad Air 2 easier to read from.
The next generation iPads are expected to have minor design tweaks which include a new speaker grill and a recessed set of volume buttons. The new iPads are also expected to get a new Apple designed A8 processor, Touch ID fingerprint scanners and upgraded 8-megapixel cameras.
