NEW DELHI, March 11- The Delhi gangrape prime accused committed suicide by hanging himself in Tihar Jail early Monday morning, according to a news channel. The Times Now said Ram Singh, one of six men accused in the fatal gangrape incident, took his life at 5am in jail. His body has been sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for postmortem.
On December 16 last year, a 23-year-old paramedical student was brutally gang raped on a moving bus in Delhi. She died two weeks later in a Singapore hospital due to multiple organ failure. Ram Singh, a bus driver, was arrested along with his brother and four others including a minor hours after the crime.BERNAMA
