KEMAMAN, April 10 – Parti Keadilan Rakyat (
) has named Kamarudin Chik, 47, of Kuala Terengganu as its candidate for the Kemaman parliamentary seat in the 13th General Election. PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim made the announcement at an event here late last night.
The MP for Kemaman in the last Dewan Rakyat was Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek who won the seat for the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 2008 general election by beating Fariz Musa of PKR by a majority of 12,683 votes.
