JULY 3- The first Welcome, with Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Nana Patekar was a blockbuster hit and to ensure that the sequel touches the 100 crore club, directer Aneez Bazmee is on a look out for the perfect star-cast.
Dabangg actor, Sonakshi Sinha who was the first choice of the film has reportedly walked out of it due to date issues. And guess who’s bagged the role, yes, Asin has been now chosen to play the sister to underworld don Uday Shetty, played by Nana Patekar.
According to a source in a leading tabloid, “Sona has multiple films in her hands and although she was keen to do the film, she could not adjust her dates. The film is a multi-starrer, so adjusting everyone’s dates was a hassle. However Asin has now been finalised and she has signed the film on Sunday night.”
Well, after Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi’s big loss, we hope Asin makes the most out of this gain.
