JULY 4- The music launch of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai express proved to be a packed affair thanks to a large presence of media that was present at the venue. The media was expecting the superstar to give in more details or at least comment on his becoming father for the third time recently through surrogacy.

Shah Rukh kept the gathered media waiting for more news on his secret third child so much so that the 7.30 pm event did not start till 9.45 pm.

It’s a little mix of sadness and happiness what’s happening at this point of time. I would request everyone to show the same alacrity in doing the enthusiastic investigations that they are doing on my baby upon other things which it should be. Let’s get on the train baby, my baby will talk about some other time.”

The sadness the star mentioned probably referred to the baby who was born prematurely and was therefore underweight at the time of his birth. According to reports the baby required intensive post natal care and hence was kept in Mumbai hospital before he was bought to their home Mannat on July 1.

The identity of the surrogate mother is not known.

At the music function when Shah Rukh was asked about his struggling period as he is not someone from the industry he remarked,  “Mumbai as a film industry made me feel very comfortable. I would like thank everyone one. The whole film industry embraced me with open arms and gave me if I may use the term a surrogate family and I have been very fortunate I have had no struggling period to talk about.”
