JULY 9- After a massive marketing campaign and speculation about its pricing and specs, Micromax has finally launched its latest smartphone Canvas 4.
Although the Micromax Canvas 4 was up for pre-orders since June 28 but the exact price was not disclosed. The Indian handset maker claims that 11,500 units of Canvas 4 have been pre-booked in less than a week.
One amazing feature about Micromax Canvas 4 is the gesture control. Consumers can blow at the phone or shake it to unlock it.
The Android phone is powered by MT6589, the quad-core processor that also powers Canvas HD. The much-talked about device has a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution. Micromax Canvas 4 has 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM and it runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
With Canvas 4, the Indian handset maker, known for making affordable mobiles, is all set to challenge the likes of Samsung Galaxy handsets, Sony smartphones and HTC One series.
