Moscow, July 15 – Russian rescue workers transport an injured passanger to an ambulance from ‘Park Pobedy’ metro station, where three carriages derailed today in Moscow, Russia.
19 people have reportedly died and more then 120 are reported injured during a train accident in the Moscow underground system.
Georgy Golukhov, the head of Moscow’s health department, said 106 people were hospitalized and more than half of them were in critical condition, Russian news agencies reported.
The accident happened when the train suddenly braked in a tunnel during the morning rush hour. Investigators said the reason was a wrong signal.
