BUKIT MERTAJAM, Aug 14- Police have obtained the latest and complete address of three of the seven locals suspected to be involved in an alleged nude festival at Pantai Teluk Kampi, within the Penang National Park premises, about two months ago.

Barat Daya Police Chief Supt Lai Fai Hin said police were seeking the address of four more individuals to facilitate investigations and believe they can find the addresses soon.”If they (seven local participants) still refuse to come in to assist investigations, police will reveal their address through the media,” he told reporters when met at the Penang Police Contingent’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri function at the Seberang Perai Tengah Police Headquarters here, last night.

Also present was Penang Police Chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi.Word on the festival got around after a five minutes and 52 seconds video titled ‘Pesta Bogel di Teluk Bahang, Penang’, showing a group of 15 men and women in the nude, participating in various activities at a hut and on the beach, went viral on social media.

Police have identified all 15 participants, made up of seven locals, four Singaporeans, two Myanmar nationals and one each from India and the Philippines.Based on their information, Lai said most of the participants were from Kedah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Melaka.

“Most were from Penang and Kuala Lumpur, and police believe they hide from one place to another to avoid being detected by authorities,” he said.He added that police also believe that locals who had joined the nude sports festival did not want to come forward for fear of legal action against them.
