KUALA LUMPUR, March 28- Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia today unveiled the new Triton Single-Cab, which offers a balance of power, toughness and reliabity for everyday business needs. The new Triton Single-Cab is also set to answer the need for transportation of goods and machinery in heavy duty usage, said Mitsubishi in a statement here today.
The Triton Single-Cab has an in-direct injection 2.8 diesel engine, designed to match with various quality levels of diesel fuel. This reduces the risk of engine damage even when the supplied fuel quality is being compromised.
“Such consideration makes the vehicle the best transport for agricultural and plantation industries that are usually situated in remote areas.
“The cargo bed is capable of heavy usage for transporting goods and machinery on a rough terrain and has a low cargo height of 845 mm for easy loading,” it added.
“For convenience, Triton comes with a remarkably tight 5.9m turning radius that gives drivers the ability to maneuver through tight spaces with ease,” it said.
Triton which is available in solid white, is priced at RM70,409 in Peninsular Malaysia and at RM71,221 and RM71,372 in Sabah and Sarawak respectively. Customers get to enjoy a three-year/100,000 kilometre warranty as well as Mitsubishi’s two-year free maintenance package, subject to terms and conditions. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the country.
