DOHA, March 28- Qatar and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in air transport sector, following two-days of talks held in the Chinese capital of Beijing, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported. The two parties agreed to amend the agenda routes in the air transport agreement, which was signed earlier in 1999.
The MoU allows the national carriers of both countries to increase the number of their respective weekly flights from 27 to 31 and increasing the cargo flights to seven flights a week. It was signed by the Qatari Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Nuaimi and China’s Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chia Hengoa.
