GEORGE TOWN, April 18 – Recipients of 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M 2.0) who have received approval letters dated April 3 can collect the vouchers from today and redeem them for cash at banks. State Development Officer, Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU), Prime Minister’s Department, Syed Shaari Syed Abdullah told Bernama today, the distribution centres will open daily from Monday to Friday until May 3.
He said that two distribution centres have been opened, one each on Penang island and Seberang Perai. Recipients on the island can collect the vouchers at Anjung Putera, ground floor, ICU, Penang at Menara Bousted in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah here.
Those in Seberang Perai can collect the vouchers at the lobby of Wisma Persekutuan (ground floor), Kepala Batas. The distribution centres are open from 8.30am-4.30pm and queries can be made by calling 04-2185756 or 04-5783700.
