MaglinKLANG, April 18 – Deputy Minister of Information Communications and Culture, Datuk Maglin Dennis D’Cruz has pledged to resolve infrastructure problems in Kota Alam Shah if elected to the state seat on May 5.

Numerous complaints were received from residents of Taman Gembira on poor maintenance by the Selangor government resulting in clogged drains and unkempt grass.

The residents were also concerned about their safety due to the many cases of burglaries, snatch thefts and the presence of stray dogs.

Maglin said the residents asked that police patrols be increased and the want the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) to catch the stray dogs.

“I asked the residents to write their complaints down and send them to my party. I told them if BN is elected, it is easier to solve the problems. They can’t wait to vote for Barisan Nasional (BN).”

Maglin is the only People’s Progressive Party (PPP) candidate contesting for BN in Selangor in this general election.

In 2008 general election,  M. Manoharan from DAP beat Ching Su Chen from BN to win Kota Alam Shah seat with a majority of 7,184 votes.
