22 April 2013-Composer GV Prakash Kumar, nephew of Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman, will finally marry his childhood sweetheart Saindhavi, a popular playback singer. Their wedding will be held in Chennai on June 27. Saindhavi and GV Prakash Kumar were in love with each other since school days.
They were supposed to tie the knot in December 2011 and the music director had announced the same in 2010. However, the marriage kept postponing as the couple were completely busy with their work. “GV Prakash will marry Saindhavi on June 27 at 9 am followed by reception at 6 pm on the same day. Parents of the couple are busy making arrangements for the wedding,” said a statement.
The preparation for the wedding are on full swing and the couple is leaving no stone unturned to make it a memorable event. According to reports, Chennai-based designer Anu Vardhan, wife of Tamil director Vishnuvardhan, is likely to design the wedding dress for the bride and groom. The wedding will take place at Mayor Ramamathan Chettiar centre, one of the prominent locations for all celebrity weddings in the town.
