PASIR GUDANG, April 27 – The PKR candidate for the Johor Baharu parliamentary constituency, General (Rtd) Tan Sri Md Hashim Hussein has violated three military ethos by belittling the country’s armed forces.
As a former Army Chief (PTD), such an act was irresponsible, said former Chief of Training and Army Doctrine, Major General (Rtd) Datuk Amir Baharudin.
He said Md Hashim had violated three military ethos, namely loyalty, dignity
and integrity.
“This indirectly gave a negative image to the security forces. (He is) willing to manipulate reality for the sake of political interests,” he said at a ceramah at Kampung Plentong Tengah, here tonight.
Amir, who is popularly known as Pak Guntor, said Md Hashim should protect the dignity of the military particularly the troops he had led.
