Tengku Adnan Tengku MansorPUTRAJAYA, April 29 – The Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Putrajaya, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, said he did not feel threatened by the campaign approach used by his opponent, PAS vice-president Husam Musa.

He said bringing in supporters from outside to one’s ceramah just to show that one had a good following was not a smart move.

“Let him (Husam) bring in supporters from outside but hopefully, they don’t create trouble in Putrajaya. No not remove the posters and banners belonging to BN,” he said after attending a gathering with Kemas (Community Development Department) staff, here, today.

He was earlier asked to comment on Husam’s action of bringing PAS supporters from outside Putrajaya to attend his ceramah.

Tengku Adnan said he was, however, more comfortable campaigning from house to house and going to public areas and meeting the people in a casual way than holding ceramah.

Meanwhile, he expressed support for blogger Kickdefella or Syed Azidi Syed Abdul Aziz challenging Husam to prove that the revelations in the book, “Kenali Husam: Politik Wang dan Kronisme”, were not true.

“Why be afraid if the content of the book is not true. Usually, ‘siapa yang makan cili dia yang terasa pedas’ (whoever eats chilli, will feel the heat),” he said, quoting the Malay proverb, which is equivalent to “no one is as angry as the person who is wrong”.

Husam recently lodged a police report against Tengku Adnan over alleged distribution of the book.
