KUCHING, May 16- Nancy Shukri, a second term Batang Sadong Member of Parliament was one of the six parliamentarians from Sarawak, appointed as minister in the new cabinet announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, yesterday.
The former legal advisor of Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU) for 11 years since 1992, is a law graduate from the Hull University, United Kingdom, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate from Universiti Teknologi Mara and Ohio University, United States.
Nancy Shukri, a former political secretary to Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud was a new face in Parliament after winning the 2008 General Election.
The Assistant Secretary General of PBB is married to Kamil Misuari and a mother of three children.
