May 20- Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will undertake an official two days visit to China on May 22.
President Rajapaksa during his visit would focus on further strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations and discuss obtaining further support for Sri Lanka’s development activities.
This will be President’s 6th tour of China, first after the election of China’s new President Xi Jinping. At present SriLanka and China maintains close diplomatic relationships.
