GEORGE TOWN, May 21- Penang MIC is to conduct a post mortem to determine the cause of its defeat in the two state seats of Bagan Dalam and Perai in the recent general election, state party chairman Datuk G. Rajoo said today.
The party would find out the reason for the failure of its candidates, M. Karuppanan and M. Krishnan, to win the seats, respectively, he told reporters here.
Rajoo also expressed the state MIC’s support for Datuk Seri G. Palanivel to continue as the party’s president at the general assembly to be held at the end of this year.
He said the MIC Central Working Committee would meet on May 28 to set the date for the general assembly.
