Delhi Police to seek access to items found in Sreesanth’s Mumbai hotel room

sreesanthMAY 23- The Delhi Police is likely to seek access to items found in S. Sreesanth’s hotel room in Mumbai.

They will move court to seek access from Mumbai Police. The plea will be to request for the access to items seized from the hotel room where Sreesanth was staying.

On Saturday, Mumbai Police had seized Sreesanth’s iPad, laptop, diaries, and some cash from the room in a suburban hotel where the cricketer had checked in on May 13.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai Police team is in Chennai to question Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of BCCI chief and Chennai Super Kings owner N. Srinivasan, according to sources.

This comes after arrested Bollywood actor Vindu Dara Singh said he placed bets on behalf of Meiyappan in the Indian Premier League.
