MAY 28- Lady Gaga is the latest celeb to join the long list of fake celebrity death reports.
News of the singer’s death gained attraction on Saturday after ‘R.I.P. Lady Gaga’ Facebook page was created. The page had an account of Lady Gaga’s death.
“At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (May 25, 2013), our beloved singer Lady Gaga passed away. Lady Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 in New York. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
Fans immediately started reacting to the post. Few believed it to be true while a few were skeptical of the report.
RIP Lady Gaga started trending worldwide on Twitter also.
On Sunday (May 26) singer’s reps officially confirmed that the news was a hoax.
“She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.
