KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 – Malaysia and Singapore are proposing to bring foward the sub-regional ministerial steering committee on transboundry haze pollution meeting by next week or second week of July from the original schedule slated for Aug 20-21.
Natural Resource and Environment Minister Datuk Seri G.Palanivel in a statement today said that Malaysia had proposed to host the meeting in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are awaiting response from the other three member countries namely Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand,” he said.
