KUALA LUMPUR, July 13- The Higher Education Bureau, National MIC Youth will sponsor 100 flight and bus tickets for needy Indian students to Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu.
“Priority is for those from families earning less than RM1,500. We will sponsor 25 flight and bus tickets to each destination,” the Bureau’s chairman Mahaganapathy Dass said in a statement here today.
On a separate note, he advised eligible Indian students who passed the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2013 but failed to secure a place in public universities for the 2013/2014 intake to appeal the matter through the bureau.
