KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 – FireFly Sdn Bhd will increase its flights to Kota Baharu, Kelantan, by twice daily to meet the high demand during the Ramadhan month.
“The additional flights from the central hub, Subang Sky Park will be added for travel from July 25th to July 28th and it has been made available in our system for purchase,” said Chief Executive Officer Ignatius Ong in a statement.
He said Firefly passengers would also enjoy 20kg of checked baggage allowance, in-flight refreshment for free as well as the opportunity to accrue and redeem Enrich points.
Meanwhile, Ong also said with there would be additional flights to Penang, Pekanbaru, Koh Samui and Kota Baharu from Aug 2-17 and that tickets were now available for purchase.
Firefly, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines System, currently operates a fleet of 12 ATR 72-500 and 1 ATR 72-600 turboprop out of Penang and Subang, connecting secondary destinations within the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle, and provides air linkages between Malaysia and Singapore.
