SHAH ALAM, Feb 6- A federation of 40 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) known as Jom Tolak Pakatan will hold a series of five debates featuring leaders of NGOs, Barisan Nasional and the opposition next
month.
Secretariat representative Hamidzun Khairuddin said the programme known as ‘Debat Rakyat’ will provide an opportunity for leaders to face the people to explain issues in Selangor.
“Through this debate we want leaders to explain to the people the actual scenario so that they can evaluate,” he told reporters here today.
Among the leaders invited are Selangor BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Noh Omar, Jalur Tiga chairman Datuk Dr Hasan Ali, Senator Ezam Mohd Nor, MP for Kulim-Bandar Datuk Zulkifli Noordin, Lokman Nor Adam, MP for Shah Alam Khalid Samad, Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Abd Rani Othman, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and PKR strategy director Mohd Rafizi Ramli.
