KUALA LUMPR, July 24- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has congratulated British Prince William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who welcomed a baby boy in London on Monday.
“I would like to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their first child,” he said on his Facebook account.
“I had the pleasure of meeting the royal couple during their tour of Malaysia last year, and I wish them, and their new baby, every happiness,” he said.
Catherine gave birth to the baby boy at 4.24pm at St. Mary’s Hospital in central London on Monday.
The infant will displace Prince Harry as third in line to the British throne after Queen Elizabeth’s eldest, Prince Charles, and his son, Prince William.
