KUALA LUMPUR, July 26- Kuala Lumpur police are calling on Inspector S. Hare Krishnan (photo) to return to duty immediately to facilitate the investigation into the death of a man held in a police lock-up.
Its chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh said if Hare Krishnan did so, police would be able to take his statement in connection with the death of N. Dhamendran in the D9 Branch lock-up of the Kuala Lumpur Crime Investigation Department.
Kuala Lumpur police have been trying to locate Hare Krishnan, who is attached to the Kuala Lumpur CID, to assist in the investigation into Dhamendran’s death on May 21.
