KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24- Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd which operates the RapidKL LRT services for the Ampang and Kelana Jaya lines will extend its services in conjunction with the Unity and Harmony Concert at Dataran Merdeka here this Sunday.
In a statement here on Friday, the company said the Masjid Jamek Station would extend its operating hours until 12.30am while other stations would merely function as exit points for passengers.
“The monorail services, meanwhile, will observe normal operating hours,” it said.
The concert, which will start at 8pm, is jointly organised by the Communication and Multimedia Ministry and its Indonesian counterpart.
Artistes include Amy Search, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza and Ella from Malaysia, and Ahmad Dhani as well as Rossa from the republic.
