KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 26 – Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor took his oath of office today as a senator for the second term.
Mohamad Ezam, 46, who hails from Klang, Selangor, was first sworn in as a senator on May 3, 2010. He is a former chief of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth.
The senator, who holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, left PKR and returned to Umno in 2008.
He was the political secretary of PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim when the latter was serving as the finance minister while in Umno.
