Jakarta, Nov 18 – The most active volcano in Indonesia, Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta province of central Java, erupted early Monday, shooting a cloud of black ash over 2,000 metre to the sky.
Heru Suparwoko, official at the monitoring post of Mount Merapi, told Xinhua this by phone from the post.
