Petaling Jaya, Nov 22 – PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s son Muhammad Khalil was elected as PAS Youth deputy chief at the wings polls here, Thursday.
He secured 355 votes whereas the other candidate, the wing’s vice chief Raja Ahmad Iskandar Raja Yaakob only managed 282 votes.
Meanwhile, former Johor PAS Youth head, Suhaizan Kaiat was elected as the new head of the wing.
He polled 320 votes while his challengers, Putrajaya PAS chief Kamarulzaman Muhammad and PAS’s lawyer Zulhazmi Sharif obtained 307 and seven votes respectively.
The contest for the vice chief post was won by Federal Territory PAS Youth chief Mohd Khairil Nizam Khirudin. He polled 411 votes while his opponent Ahmad Zamri Asaad Khuzaimi, a lawyer, secured 226 votes.
