New Delhi, February 12, 2013-Hindi movies Special 26 and ABCD – Any Body Can Dance have done a good collection at the box office.
Both the movies have done good business over the first weekend.
The Akshay Kumar starrer has earned from Rs.26.5 crores to Rs.27 crores, while Remo D’Souza’s dance flick has managed to earn Rs.19.5 crores.
Neeraj Pandey’s directorial venture, which is released in 1750 screens, witnessed fantastic growth after a slow start. The business grew substantially on Saturday and Sunday.
Special 26 collected Rs.7 crores on Friday , Rs.9 crores on Saturday andRs.10.5 crores to 11 crores on Sunday.
ABCD â Any Body Can Dance, which is released in 750 screens, has fared well, despite no big star cast. The film witnessed growth over the weekend, with the 3D version running to packed houses.
ABCD collected Rs.5.5 crores on Friday,Rs.6.5 crores on Saturday and Rs.7.5 crores on Sunday.
Now it is to be seen how will both the movies fare through out the week.
