KOTA BAHARU, Feb 15 – The Kelantan government has no proper planning for the controversial Ladang Rakyat project. Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Noh Omar said the Ladang Rakyat project is seen more as a logging and not an agriculture project.
“All the timber will be gone,” he told reporters after opening the National Key Result Areas (NKEA) padi project in Melor, near here today.
Noh said the Ladang Rakyat project introduced by PAS in 2006 had failed to meet its target much to the disappointment of people in Hulu Kelantan.
The Barisan Nasional (BN) government has proper planning when implementing projects for the benefit of the people.
