Guwahati, May 6 -Activists of the All Assam Minority Students Union (AAMSU) staging a demonstration today in protest against the recent brutal killings of Muslim minority people by the Bodo tribal militants in Guwahati city, India.
Reports state that so far 38 people have died in the ethnic clash in Bodo land area of Lower Assam. The security forces have tightened their operations against the banned militant outfit National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), which is suspected to be behind the violence. Three cadres of the outfit were also gunned down by security forces after the ethnic clash broke out.
