Indian elections : Keeping vigil over ballot boxes

May 13 –  This picture taken today shows Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers keeping  vigil in front of a strong room where Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) are kept at a counting centre in the city of Ahmedabad, India.

The EVM machines all over India are guarded in a similar fashion.

The results of the parliamentary elections are scheduled to be announced on May 16.
