“Advani is our leader. We will move under his guidance. This is not a mother-son party. Everything is done after discussions. There is no power centre in our party,” he said, taking a jibe at Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi.
Asked if he wanted to be the BJP chief again, Gadkari said no. “I have no wishes to be the party chief now. I am a loyal party worker; the party has given me a lot and whatever the party will say I will do.”
Asked if he was in a tussle with any other party leader, he said: “I am not in not tussle with anyone. Party has always stood by me and I was asked by no one to resign as party chief.” He also said that RSS was not dictating terms to the BJP.”There is no remote control.
