infosysNew Delhi, June 6 – In yet another blow to Infosys, the Indian IT giant’s vice-president and global head of strategic sales, marketing and alliances Prasad Thrikutam quit the company on Thursday.

“Prasad has decided to pursue interests outside of Infosys. In his 19-year journey with the company, he has managed many portfolios, including the hi-tech and discrete manufacturing, energy, utilities, and services,” a company spokesperson said.

Prasad’s exit comes a week after the $8.3-billion global software major’s president and board member B.G. Srinivas had quit the company on May 28. His resignation will be effective June 10. “President U.B. Pravin Rao will be managing Prasad’s portfolio. We thank him for his contribution to the company and wish him the best for his future endeavours,” the spokesperson said.
