KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is confident Spain will win the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The Prime Minister said he was confident that Spain or known as “La Roja” would be able to defend their title gained in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa based on their excellent perfomance.
“England is my sentimental favourite but I don’t think they will go further in this competition.
“Although I like the way Brazil play…but I think Spain will win,” he said in a conversation after delivering a keynote address at the Invest Malaysia 2014 here, today.
The conversation was moderated by PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia’s former Executive Chairman Datuk Seri Johan Raslan.
Spain will play their opening Group B match against Netherlands on June 13.
